Hughes Peninsula er ei isdekt halvøy kring 18 nautiske mil lang som ligg vest for Henryfjorden på nordsida av Thurston Island i Antarktis. Ho vart kartlagd frå flyfoto teken av U.S. Navy Operasjon Highjump i desember 1946, og vart namngjeven av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Jerry Hughes, ein fotograf under U.S. Navy sin ekspedisjon i Bellingshausenhavet i februar 1960. Han tok flyfoto av Thurston Island frå helikopter.[1]
