Syrisk kristendom

Syrisk kristendom er ei retning innan kristendommen som følgjer kristne tradisjonar frå Syria. Mange av dei bruker gammalsyrisk, ein variant av arameisk, som liturgispråk.

Den syriske kristendommen er hovudsakleg utbreidd i Midtausten og i den indiske delstaten Kerala. Syrisk kristendom er rekna som ein del av austleg kristendom, og er delt inn i to hovudgrupper: Ei vestleg som følgjer antiokensk ritus og ei austleg som følgjer kaldeisk ritus.
