Universitetet ved al-Karaouine (arabisk جامعة القرويين‎, romanisert al-Qarawiyyin) er eit universitet ved al-Karaouinemoskeen i Fez i Marokko. Lærestaden og moskeen blei grunnlagd av Fatima al-Fihri i 859.[1] Universitetet blir derfor ofte omtalt som det eldste i verda som framleis er i drift.[2] Det blei del av det moderne marokkanske universitetsystemet i 1963.[3][4][5][6]

Namnet på moskeen og universitetet viser til Kairouan i Tunisia, staden al-Fihrifamilien opphavleg kom frå. [7]
