Adam Mitchell (fødd 24. november 1944) er ein ein skotsk-kanadisk songar-låtskrivar, mest kjend for å ha skrive «French Waltz», som vart ein hit for Nicolette Larson, «Dancing Round and Round», som vart ein hit for Olivia Newton-John, og for seinare ha arbeidd med KISS på albuma Killers, Creatures of the Night, Crazy Nights og Hot in the Shade.
Mitchell skreiv òg den populære countrysongen «Out Among The Stars», som vart spelt av Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard og Waylon Jennings,[1] blant fleire.
Mitchell har òg skrive songar spelt inn av John Waite,[2] Wendy O. Williams,[3] Bonnie Tyler,[4] Chicago,[5] Johnny Lee,[6] Lynn Anderson,[7] Commander Cody[8] og Paul Anka,[9] blant fleire.
