Alexandre Michel Gérard Desplat (fødd 23. august 1961) er ein fransk filmmusikk-komponist. Han har fått fire Oscar-nominasjonar, fem BAFTA-nominasjonar, fem Golden Globe-nominasjonar og to Grammy-nominasjonar. Desplat vann sin fyrste Golden Globe-pris for The Painted Veil i 2006, sin fyrste British Academy Film Award i 2011 og sin fyrste Grammypris i 2012; sistnemnte for Kongens tale. Blant ulike prosjekt har Desplat jobba på ei rekkje Hollywood-filmar, inkludert uavhengige og kommersielle suksessar som The Queen, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, New Moon, Fantastic Mr. Fox og Harry Potter og Dødstalismanene - Del 1 og Del 2.
