«The Ballad of John and Yoko» er ein song av The Beatles gjeven ut som ein singel i mai 1969. Songen er hovudsakleg skriven av John Lennon, men er på vanleg vis tilskriven Lennon/McCartney. Songen omhandlar Lennon sitt ekteskap med Yoko Ono og ting dei gjorde i lag. Songen vart spelt inn like før mesteparten av songane til Abbey Road vart spelte inn.

Songen er ein ballade på den tradisjonelle måten som eit forteljande dikt i ein song, men ikkje sett ut i frå moderne popmusikk, der ein ballade er ein sakte, ofte sentimental kjærleikssong. Songen vart den 17. og siste førsteplassen Beatles fekk i Storbritannia.

Songen vart spelt inn av Lennon og Paul McCartney. George Harrison var på ferie og Ringo Starr var oppteken med ei filminnspeling. Lennon fekk brått inspirasjon til å skrive og spele inn songen og ringde McCartney og foreslo at dei spelte han inn utan å vente på dei to andre.

Lennon var på solovokal og spelte dei to sologitarane, akustisk gitar og perkusjon. McCartney song harmonivokal og spelte bass, trommer og maracas.

Arbeidstittelen til songen var «The Ballad of John and Yoko (They’re Going to Crucify Me)».[2]
