Chanticleer Island er ei nesten snøfri øy som er 1 nautiske mil lang og som ligg utanfor nordvestenden av Hoseason Island i Antarktiske Arkipel. Øya vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee i 1960 etter HMS «Chanticleer» (kaptein Henry Foster). Mannskapet på skipet gjekk i land i nærleiken av denne øya den 7. januar 1829.[1][2]
