Confusion Island er ei øy på vestsida av innløpet til Clowes Bay, utanfor sørsida av Signy Island. Den sørlege delen av øya vart kartlagd og namngjeven Confusion Point av mannskapet på RSS «Discovery II» under Discovery Investigations i 1933, UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee endra namnet i 1974, og nytta det om heile øya.[1]
