Davidson Island (Antarktis)

Davidson Island er ei lita, kuppelforma, isdekt øy mellom Wollan Island og Shull Rocks i Crystal Sound. Ho vart kartlagd frå flyfoto tekne av Ronne antarktiske forskingsekspedisjon (1947–48) og Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1958–59) og frå landmålingar av Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey (1958–59). Ho vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee etter William L. Davidson, ein amerikansk fysikar som nytta nøytrondiffraksjon til å finne plasseringa til hydrogenatom i is.
