Dei mest kjende leiarane var Harland and Wolff-arbeidaren Thomas Henry Sloan og journalisten Robert Lindsay Crawford.

Organisasjon[endre | endre wikiteksten]

I nyare tid finst heller ingen kjende medlemstal.

Our Institution is constitutional Unionist and here we confirm that it will continue to remain so, believing that the Union between Great Britain and Northern Ireland is best for everyone in these islands. The Scottish Nationalist Party’s continuing campaigning for another referendum for Scottish Independence, is concerning, and together with Sinn Fein’s demand for a United Ireland must be opposed at every opportunity, we will be at the forefront of opposing both.

We as British citizens are concerned about the continuing and relentless demands from Republican sympathisers for more Irish signs and symbols being introduced into our country, how ironic they could never tolerate the Union Flag being flown on our council buildings or British Symbols inside our civic buildings, we call on our Government to oppose their demands and always remind the Republicans that Northern Ireland is still part of the United Kingdom.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of the D day landings in Normandy and as an Institution we salute those who were there and gave so much for our world today. Britain’s army was admired by all the nation at that time, isn’t it a pity, that post WW2 our servicemen are hampered in doing their job because of fear of prosecution. Our Institution is concerned about what looks like a “witch hunt” against those who served so gallantly on the streets of Londonderry and other towns and cities in Northern Ireland and call on the government to bring a halt to the prosecutions and persecution of all soldiers. They should be treated fairly, respected and valued by everyone.

As well as Loyalty to our Sovereign we urge all citizens of our country to be loyal to the forces of the Crown, the PSNI and the courts, these are arms of the state and must be supported by all law abiding citizens, especially Independent Brethren and Sisters.

NOT POLITICS, PRINCIPLES NOT PARTY, MEASURES NOT MEN. No Surrender. God save the Queen
