Tommy er eit filmmusikkalbum av The Who med bidrag frå fleire artistar. Musikken vart nytta i filmen Tommy, som var basert på det originale albumet av The Who i 1969. Pete Townshend oversåg produksjonen av dette dobbeltalbumet med orkesterarrangementa han hadde planlagt men ikkje nytta på den originale Tommy-utgjevinga. Her vart dei framførte på synthesiser.

Det var òg mange studiomusikarar med på innspelinga av filmmusikkalbumet, inkludert Caleb Quaye, Phil Chen og Nicky Hopkins, i tillegg til medlemmar frå The Faces, Ronnie Wood og den framtidige Keith Moon-erstattaren Kenney Jones. Songen «Pinball Wizard», framført av Elton John, vart ein stor hit då han kom ut på singel.[1] Sjølv om musikken for denne songen er framført av «The Elton John Band», som han kalla bandet sitt, syner filmen at John vert akkompagnert av The Who. Townshend spelte ekstra synthesizer og/eller gitar på alle spora.
