Grinnell Island er ei øy som ligg sør for Chappel Island i Donovan Islands i Antarktis. Ho vart først kartlagd frå flyfoto teken av U.S. Navy Operasjon Highjump, 1946–47, og vart namngjeven av Carl R. Eklund etter løytnant Sheldon W. Grinnell i U.S. Navy Reserve Medical Corps, som var militærlege ved Wilkes Station i 1957.[1]
