Meirion James Trow (fødd i 1949), som skriv under namnet M.J. Trow, er ein walisisk forfattar av kriminallitteratur. Han har skrive bøker om Inspector Lestrade, Peter Maxwell og den historiske figuren Kit Marlowe.

Liv og virke

Trow blei fødd i Ferndale i Rhondda Cynon Taff i Wales. Han var eleve ved Warwick School frå 1961 til 1968. I 1968 byrja han studera historie ved King's College London. Deretter var han eit år ved Jesus College i Cambridge. Frå 1972 var han historielærar i Welwyn Garden City i Hertfordshire. Han gifta seg med Carol Mary Long i 14. juli 1973. I 1976 flytta han til Isle of Wight der han underviste i historie og politikk ved Ryde High School.

Trow er medlem av forfattarforeiningane Society of Authors og av Crime Writers' Association.
