Mojo er det 12. studioalbumet til det amerikanske rockebandet Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, gjeve ut den 15. juni 2010 på CD og 29. juni på BD.[1][2] Det var det første albumet til Petty med the Heartbreakers på åtte år.[3] Mojo debuterte på andreplassen på Billboard 200 i USA, og selde 125 000 eksemplar den første veka.[4] Albumet var det første heile albumet med bassisten Ron Blair sidan Hard Promises i 1981, sidan han berre spelte på to songar på det førre Heartbreakers-albumet, The Last DJ.

Marknadsføring og utgjeving[endre | endre wikiteksten]

Bandet byrja å strøyme ein song frå albumet, «Good Enough», på nettsida si den 24. februar 2010. Det vart posta videoar for «Jefferson Jericho Blues,» «First Flash of Freedom,» «I Should Have Known It,» «Something Good Coming,» og «Good Enough» på YouTube-kanalen til bandet.[5]

Albumet har så langt ein score på 72 av 100 på Metacritic.[6] ChartAttack gav albumet 2,5 av 5 og sa det var «særs skuffande» og «ei plate som kjem til å verte ein kult-hit om ti år. Forventningane til Petty og bandet hans er særs høge, og frå det standpunktet manglar albumet fengande melodiar og refreng, noko me veit desse karane klarar å gjere i søvne.»[18] The Independent gav albumet fem av fem stjerner og sa «det er eit av dei beste albuma deira»[19]
