Mount McKelvey er eit stort sett isfritt fjell (2090 moh) som ligg mindre enn 1 nautisk mil (1,9 km) aust for Mount Walcott aust i Thiel Mountains. Det vart kartlagd av US Geological Survey (USGS) Thiel Mountains party i 1960-61. Det vart namngjeve av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) etter Vincent E. McKelvey, den niande direktøren i U.S. Geological Survey frå 1971-78.
