National Museum of the American Indian er eit museum ved National Mall i Washington D.C., Manhattan i New York og i Suitland i Maryland. Det er ein del av Smithsonian Institution. Museet er vigd amerikanske urfolk og levemåtane, språka, litteraturen, historia og kunsten deira. Skipinga av museet blei innleia ved eit vedtak i Kongressen i 1989. Museet blei innvigd i september 2004, og samla då kring 20 000 personar frå ulike urfolksgrupper i USA.

Ein betydeleg del av samlingane kjem frå det tidlegare Museum of the American Indian som blei oppretta i New York i 1916. Det bygde på samlingane til George Gustav Heye (1874–1957).
