Rhesusape-rhadinovirus (RRV) er eit rhadinovirus som kan infisera rhesusapen. Det er eit av dei nærast skylde virusa til menneskeviruset Kaposi-sarkom-assosiert herpesvirus (KSHV) og er nytta som modell for dette viruset. Rhesusape-rhadinovirus vart oppdaga på slutten av 1990-talet og er ein prototype for RV2-ættelina av rhadinovirus.^[1]^[2]

Rhesusape-rhadinoviruset har eit genom på 130 000 basepar. Nesten alle gena har homologar hjå Kaposi-sarkom-assosiert herpesvirus, men båe artane har òg særeigne gen.^[2] Fleire mikro-RNA er kjende frå viruset.^[3]
