Rhymes & Reasons er det fjerde studioalbumet til den amerikanske musikaren Carole King. Det kom ut i 1972 og inneheld singelen «Been to Canaan», som toppa Billboard Adult Contemporary-lista og nådde 24. plassen på poplista til Billboard. Albumet vart sjølv ein hit og nådde andreplassen på Billboard 200.

Albumet var det tredje nye albumet til King på mindre enn to år og består nesten utelukkande av nye komposisjonar, mange av dei skrivne i lag med Toni Stern. I følgje Allmusic var resultatet tynnare enn Tapestry eller Music.[2]
