Rodney Mills (fødd 13. juli 1946) er ein amerikansk lydteknikar i Atlanta i Georgia.
Han har vore ein del av musikkindustrien i over 50 år og har fått over 50 gull- og platinaplater som lydteknikar, produsent og lydmastering.
Mills byrja musikkarrieren sin i 1962 som bassist for The Bushmen.[1] I løpet av dei sju åra sine i gruppa vart han interessert i lydteknikk og byrja som lydteknikar i 1967.[1]
I 1968 vart Mills hovudlydteknikar ved Lefevre Sound Studios i Atlanta i Georgia. Der deltok han på innspelingar med artistar som Joe South, Billy Joe Royal, Dennis Yost and the Classics IV, The Meters, The Stamps Quartet, James Brown, The Winstons, Mylon LeFevre og mange andre.
I 1970 var han med å utforme de kjende Studio One[2] i ein forstad til Atlanta, Doraville i Georgia. Dei neste 16 åra arbeidde Mills berre her, mellom andre for B.J. Thomas, The Atlanta Rhythm Section (11 album), Lynyrd Skynyrd (4 album), 38 Special (7 album), Outlaws, Journey, Eric Martin, Helix og mange andre album og prosjekt.
Sidan 1986 arbeidde Mills som ssjølvstendig plateprodusent i forskjellige studio. Sidan då har han produsert album for 38 Special (to album), Gregg Allman (to album), Cruzados (to album), The Radiators (to album), The Doobie Brothers (to album) og fleire andre.
I 1994 skipa Rodney «Rodney Mills Masterhouse», som dreiv med lydmastering i Atlanta. Sidan då har han mastra tusenvis av prosjekt for mange artistar som Pearl Jam, The Wallflowers, Collective Soul, Kentucky Headhunters, R.E.M., Atlanta Rhythm Section, Gucci Mane, Sugarland, Rage Against The Machine, Bonecrusher, Drive-By Truckers, Unk, Soulja Boy, Zac Brown Band, Pylon og andre.
