Rough and Rowdy Ways er det 39. studioalbumet til den amerikanske visesongaren Bob Dylan, gjeve ut 19. juni 2020 på Columbia Records. Det er det første albumet til Dylan med originale songar sidan Tempest frå 2012, og kom ut etter ein trio med album der han spelte tradisjonell pop-standardar.

Før albumet kom ut kom singlane «Murder Most Foul», «I Contain Multitudes» og «False Prophet». Rough and Rowdy Ways kom ut som eit dobbeltalbum[3], der heile den andre plata består av «Murder Most Foul». Albumet inneheld bidrag frå Fiona Apple og Blake Mills.[4]

Den 27. mars 2020 kom singelen «Murder Most Foul» ut, heilt uannonsert.[5] Det var den første originale songen til Dylan sidan 2012.[6][7] 17. april 2020 kom den andre singelen, «I Contain Multitudes», ut.[8][9][10][11]

Rough and Rowdy Ways vart offisielt utgjeve 8. mai 2020.[12] Den tredje singelen frå albumet, «False Prophet», kom ut same dagen.[13] Den 11. juni 2020 avslørte YouTube-kanalen til Bob Dylan heile sporlista på albumet.[14]

Dei første meldingane om albumet var særs positive og gav ein samla score på 95/100 på Metacritic, basert på 16 meldingar.[17] Neil McCormick i The Daily Telegraph gav albumet fem av fem stjerner.[21] Anne Margaret Daniel skreiv for Hot Press og sa «Rough and Rowdy Ways er ei plate me treng akkurat no, og ho vil vare.»[27] Mikael Wood i Los Angeles Times, sa at albumet «rullar ut det eine vedunderet etter det andre.»[28] Slate kalla albumet det beste til Dylan på «mange år, kanskje tiår» for breidda i dei kulturelle referansane og djupa i tekstane og låtskrivinga til Dylan.[29] The New York Times skildra songane som «dels dødsheimsøkt og kantantisk,» og rivaliserte med «den dystre, galgenhumoren som var så overbevisande på Time Out of Mind (1997) og Love and Theft (2001).»[30]
