The Diving Board er det 31. studioalbumet til den britiske songaren Elton John.[7] Det er den andre studioutgåva hans sidan Victim of Love frå 1979 utan nokon av dei fast bandmedlemmane sine.[8][9] Albumet kom ut i Storbritannia den 16. september 2013 og debuterte på tredjeplassen på UK album chart, den høgaste plasseringa hans sidan Songs from the West Coast i 2001, og fjerdeplassen på Billboard 200. Dette var den høgaste plasseringa hans i USA sidan Blue Moves i 1976.

Den første singelen frå albumet, «Home Again» kom ut 24. juni 2013, same dag det vart mogeleg å førehandstinge albumet. Den 28. august 2013 vart det lagt ut ein video for «Mexican Vacation (Kids in the Candlelight)» på YouTube.
