Barter Bluff er ein markant fjellskrent 19 km vest for Leister Peak i Kohler Range i Marie Byrd Land. Skrenten dannar ein del av ein fjellvegg langs austsida av Kohlerbreen. Han vart kartlagt av US Geological Survey frå landmålingar og frå flyfoto tekne av U.S. Navy i 1959–66 og vart namngjeven av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Leland L. Barter, maskinist på «Eleanor Bolling» under Byrd-ekspedisjonen i 1928–30. og på både «Bear of Oakland» og «Jacob Ruppert» under Byrd-ekspedisjonen, 1933–35.[1]
