Cape Gates er eit isdekt nes som markerer heilt nordvest på Carney Island langs kysten av Marie Byrd Land i Antarktis. Det vart først kartlagd av US Geological Survey frå flyfoto teken under U.S. Navy Operasjon Highjump i januar 1947, og vart namngjeve av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Thomas S. Gates, undersekretær i marinen før og under Operasjon Deep Freeze.[1]
