Dickson Pillar er ei staur som ligg like sør for Possession Island i Possession Islands. Klippa vart kartlagt av US Geological Survey frå landmålingar og flyfoto tekne av U.S. Navy i 1958–63 og vart namngjeven av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter Paul B. Dickson i US Navy, fotografi i skvadron VX-6 på flyturen den 18. januar 1958, på den tida klippa vart fotografert.[1]
