Florence Rock er ei lita øy som er 200 meter lang med mindre skjer utanfor nordaustenden, som ligg 1,5 km sørvest for Cape Anderson, utanfor sørkysten av Laurie Island i Sør-Orknøyane. Han vart kartlagt og namngjeven av Den skotske nasjonale antarktisekspedisjonen i 1902–04, leia av W.S. Bruce.[1]
Det er truleg at Bruce kalla Florence Rock opp etter Edwin Florence, sjefskokken på ekspedisjonsskipet «Scotia».[2]
