Gränicher Island er ei lita øy som er den nordlegaste av Bennett Islands i Hanusse Bay i Antarktis. Ho vart kartlagd frå flyfoto tekne av Ronne antarktiske forskingsekspedisjon (1947–48) og Falkland Islands and Dependencies Aerial Survey Expedition (1956–57). Ho vart namngjeven av UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee etter Walter H.H. Gränicher, ein sveitsisk fysikar som frå 1954 gjorde viktige undersøkingar av dei elektriske og mekaniske eigenskapane til is i øver til molekylstrukturen.[1]
