John «Johnny 'Guitar'» Watson, Jr. (3. februar 1935–17. mai 1996) var ein amerikansk blues, soul og funkmusikar og låtskrivar.[1] Han var ein prangande showmann og elektrisk gitarist i same stil som T-Bone Walker, og spelte musikk i 1950- og 1960-åra med ein viss suskess. Han fekk ein ny vår i 1970-åra med disco og funk med hittar som «Ain't That a Bitch», «I Need It» og «Superman Lover». Platekarrieren hans varte nesten i 40 år og den største hitten hans var «A Real Mother For Ya» frå 1977.[2]
Watson døydde av hjarteåtak på scenen i Yokohama i Japan.
