Bluff Island er ei øy som ligg 0,5 nautiske mil sør for Magnetic Island og 2 nautiske mil vest for the Breidneset ved Vestfold Hills i Prydzbukta. Ho vart kartlagd frå flyfoto teken av Lars Christensen-ekspedisjonen, 1936–37, og vart kartlagd på ny av Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (1957–58). Ho fekk dette namnet fordi sørenden av øya er markert av ein bratt klippevekk (bluff på engelsk).[1]
