Drake Nunatak er ein nunatak på 1935 moh ved foten av Bermel Escarpment og 1 nautisk mil (2 km) aust for Elliott Nunatak i Thiel Mountains. Namnet vart foreslått av Arthur Ford og Peter Bermel, som i lag leia gruppa frå US Geological Survey (USGS) som vitja Thiel Mountains i 1960–61, etter Avery A. Drake jr., ein geolog i USGS ombord på USS «Glacier» til Thurston Island og Bellingshausenhavet i 1960–61.[1]
