Wyche Island er ei lita øy like sør for vestenden av Burnett Island i Swain Islands. Denne regionen vart fotografert frå lufta av U.S. Navy Operasjon Highjump (1946–47), ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) (1956), og den sovjetiske ekspedisjonen (1956). Øya vart landmålt i 1957 av C.R. Eklund. Han namngav ho etter flyfotografen Paul A. Wyche i U.S. Navy, som heldt seg ved Wilkes Station i 1957.
