Bruce Islands er ei gruppe småøyar og skjer 1,5 nautiske mil nordvest for Eillium Island og 3 nautiske mil nordvest for Route Point, nordvesttuppen av Laurie Island i Sør-Orknøyane. Dei vart først nedteikna på kartet til Powell under reisa til kaptein George Powell og kaptein Nathaniel Palmer i 1821. Dei vart kartlagde på ny i 1912–13 av kaptein Petter Sørlle, og i 1933 av mannskapet på RRS «Discovery II» under Discovery Investigations, som namngav dei etter William S. Bruce, leiaren for Den skotske nasjonale antarktisekspedisjonen, 1902–04.[1]
