Outer Lee Island er ei lita øy 1,5 nautiske mil (2,8 km) nord-nordvest for Bellingshausen Point, som ligg i den ytre delen av Bay of Isles i Sør-Georgia. Denne øya vart kartlagd i 1912-13 av Robert Cushman Murphy, ein amerikansk naturalist ombord på briggen Daisy, som inkluderte ho ei av to øyar han kalla Lee Islands. Desse øyane vart kartlagd på ny i 1929-30 av mannskapet på Discovery Investigations, som kalla den nordaustlege av dei to øyane Outer Lee Island. Den sørvestlege øya fekk namnet Inner Lee Island.
