Jimmy Johnson (fødd i 1956) er ein USA-amerikansk bassist mest kjend for arbeidet sitt med James Taylor, Allan Holdsworth og Flim & the BB's.^[1] Broren Gordon er òg ein profesjonell bassist.

I 1976 arbeidde Johnson med Alembic og GHS for å skape ein av dei første 5-strengs bassgitarane med ein låg H-streng. Johnson har budd i Los Angeles sidan 1979.
