Olivia Newton-John DBE (26. september 1948–8. august 2022) var ein britiskfødd, australsk songar, låtskrivar og skodespelar. Ho vann Grammyprisen fire gonger og har fem førsteplassar og ti andre topp 10-plasseringar på den amerikanske Billboard Hot 100-lista for singlar^[1] og to album på toppen av Billboard 200-albumlista. Elleve av singlane hennar (mellom anna to platinaplater) og 14 av albuma hennar (av dei to platina og fire doble platina) har selt til gullplate. Ho har gjort suksess innan fleire sjangrar, som pop, country og adult contemporary, og har selt kring 100 millionar plater, noko som gjer ho til ein av dei mestseljande artistane gjennom tidene.^[2] Ho spelte i lag med John Travolta i filmutgåva av Broadway-musikalen Grease, som gav eit av dei mest suksessrike filmmusikkalbum i historia til Hollywood.
