London Borough of Southwark

Southwark er ein bydel i London. Den ligg på sørsida av Themsen, og grensar mot City of London og Tower Hamlets mot nord, og Lambeth og Lewisham i sør.
Namnet oppstod som namn på eit område rett sør for London Bridge. Det har vore busett sidan romersk tid, og fekk namnet på 800-talet.
Distriktet blei oppretta i 1965 ved at kretsane Southwark, Camberwell og Bermondsey blei slått saman.
Det ligg to katedralar i Southwark: Den anglikanske Southwark-katedralen og den katolske St. Georgs katedral.
