Glattnasefamilien (Vespertilionidae) er ein familie av småflaggermus. Nesten alle artane et insekt; unntaka er nokre flaggermus i Myotis- og Pizonyx-familien som fangar fisk. Dessutan har dei større Nyctalus-artane vorte kjend for å fange spurvefuglar i flukt nokon gonger. Alle flaggermus som lever i Noreg høyrer til denne familien. Det er over 300 artar i familien.

Molekylære data visar at Vespertilionidae vart splitta frå Molossidae, ein anna flaggermusfamilie, tidleg i Eocene perioden. Familien antas å ha opphav ein stad i Laurasia, moglegvis Nord-Amerika.
